Reawakened

4.25.2016

Every now and then, you may get into a "slump"...

When you just feel blah and don't want to do anything. Well, this happened. These past 2 weeks have been extremely busy and blogging was put on a standstill. Why? Because I felt like something was missing. I've been blogging for many years now and, as much as I love to do it, it's been quite unmotivating lately...until now. Sometimes you need a mini break - a quick breather - to let your mind clear and make way for something new to come. A change is coming and I'm excited to share this awakening new journey with you. Thank you all for reading and supporting this bloggie - I truly appreciate it.

What do you like to do to stay refreshed? I went to a yoga class the other day and it made me realize how much I miss taking fitness classes. So my new goal is to take some time to work out each week.

A Neutral Naked Palette

1.27.2016

When it almost feels like bare skin...

Although it's supposedly winter in the OC, it sure doesn't feel like it! The sun is out and plans to go to the beach after work sounds quite tempting (anyone else catching the beach sunsets?). I'm a dress lover by heart and tend to usually wear more colors, if not black and white, but decided to venture out to my first all nude outfit. That's right: ALL NUDE. When playing with a neutral palette, sometimes you can't help but to feel so bare. So to avoid looking "naked," wear different shades neutral tones. Like a darker colored hat (or accessories) to give more depth into the look. Even though I'll probably still revert to automatically wearing black (hard to break old habits, right?), this was a nice change to step out of my comfort zone. After all, it's not quite fashion if we're not taking risks!

How are you going to step out of your style comfort zone? For 2016, I'm going to be reflecting on a new wardrobe style so watch and see! So excited to share this style journey with you.

{FASHION TIP: To keep with the neutral palette, pair it with gold accessories.}
